Re: Whiskey's Most Brutal Ukraine Compilation #1

damn.

white people sure love killing each other.

men are so expendable. Imagine if women were instead made to go to frontlines. All wars would end immediately.
Women do have to go to frontlines in Israel, for example, and that war is no where close to ending.
In second world war, women also served on the soviet side. And i think Kurds also deploy female soldiers a lot.

We caucasians certainly excel at murder don't we.

If more women were at the front lines and it wasn't a constant push grabbing new territory, our shit would be tightened up a bit, some necessary detailed attention that the guys might overlook, M67 frags separated and labelled from the RGD-5's, enhanced ability to link machine gun ammunition ball to tracer 4-to-1 for many hours, rations better organized, better quality field kitchen which means higher morale, better attention listening to radio from up higher, overall communication skills, significantly higher bedside manner for wounded troops, higher level of sanitation.

I think a shotgun might be the only chance you have of stopping a drone.

Re: Whiskey's Most Brutal Ukraine Compilation #1

I think the use of drones was one of the best ideas and has turned out to be a very decisive weapon during the whole war.

If you can take a 20millllion dollar tank out with a 500dollar drone then it cant be a bad weapon at all. A few years ago it was all in the realm of sci fi small drones with cameras flying through windows and taking out the enemy. Now its a reality.

Its only a matter of time until they are being scaled down to palm size and dropped out of planes in their thousands and programmed to go after infantry. the only thing they would be limited by would be how long they can fly for on a single battery.

Heck the Chinese are using what look like robotic dogs which guns mounted on their backs.

We really are on the cusp of something new in modern warfare.
Drone warfare has redefined war the same way machine guns did in their time. It's literally taking soldiers back to trench warfare in Ukraine.

quite amazing how war tech has changed in the sense of using little flying robots to blow people the hell up.

Putin's fodder

Re: Whiskey's Most Brutal Ukraine Compilation #1

Sometimes, when someone dies suddenly (i.e. they weren't IMMEDIATELY expecting it), somehow they don't seem to realize it and just keep walking around non-corporeally. For instance, an ex of mine was stabbed to death in the workplace, but she was still there months later to for me to catch in a photo when I went by specifically to try to see if she was lingering/trapped/confused, to inform her of what happened if she didn't know, to maybe help her move on. I believe I accomplished this, though naturally I'll never know for sure.
In the sudden violence sense, and especially in the somewhat novel-to-this-theatre 'insta-killed from a blue sky by a drone you didn't even notice' sense, Eastern/Southern Ukraine is likely already uniquely haunted AF (on top of all the shit that happened mid-last-century there), which from a living perspective can take years to decades to 'die down' without some help in moving on. I'd say "presuming this shit doesn't just all start back up there AGAIN in the interim, of course.", but the next wars are shaping up to be more bot-on-bot, i.e. more humans will probably die unarmed and noncombatant in cities/at home than out in the field so much. But it'll likely still be nearly as sudden, unfortunately.

Some insane footage. The one toward the end where you can see dudes heart take its last few beats was intense.

Re: Whiskey's Most Brutal Ukraine Compilation #1

They're trying to inflict as many KIA as possible considering how insanely reckless Russia's tactics are. Russia has the advantage in manpower but the Ukrainians have a massive advantage in the amount of drones with trained crews. They can produce domestically less than $400 per unit, I've seen them expend 3+ FPV drones on a single soldier - this tells us a lot.
This footage (from your original post) is from Russian/North Korean soldiers?

Re: Whiskey's Most Brutal Ukraine Compilation #1

I dont understand why someone would choose to die like this.
Do you mean by going to war or shooting themselves in the head before the drone can get them?
