Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room III
Canada is ready to support the initiative of the Czech Republic regarding the urgent delivery of tens of thousands of artillery shells to Ukraine. This is reported by CBC News with reference to sources in the Canadian Defense Department. Although the details are still being worked out, sources say the Canadian government may provide up to $22 million to implement the plan proposed at the opening of the Munich Security Conference by Czech President Petr Pavl. Pavlo stated that the Czech Republic has discovered up to 800,000 shells of standard NATO caliber, which it can send to Ukraine in a few weeks, if it receives financing for delivery. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room III
Russian troops have made a confirmed advance in the west of the Zaporizhzhia region, — Institute for the Study of War Katsaps advanced in western Robotyn and west of Verbovoy. Positional battles continue near Verbovoy, Robotyny and Malaya Tokmachka. Russian troops in the Orihiv direction are trying to advance in small infantry groups and on high-speed quadricycles, but Russian attacks in this direction are unsuccessful. Other ISW findings for February 21: The occupation governor of the Zaporizhia region Yevgeny Balytsky openly admitted that the Russian authorities forcibly deport Ukrainian citizens who oppose the Russian invasion of Ukraine or "offend" Russia, and hinted that the Russian occupation forces execute Ukrainian citizens without trial or investigation. Russian troops have made confirmed advances near Avdiivka, Donetsk, Robotyny and Krynyk. Belarusian and Kazakh companies help Russia circumvent international sanctions. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room III
Not necessarily a 007 move. More like they have admitted that they had the stockpile in the first place as you never ever let anyone know the exact number of munitions that you have. All a matter of prospective ! P.S Also, to give that many away would also mean that they have at least double that in reserve. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room III
The defense forces recently shot down that Russian A-50 aircraft from a Soviet S-200 air defense system sources of UP in GUR shared. S-200 is a long-range anti-aircraft missile system (up to 300 km) The transport complex is capable of operating under conditions of intensive radio countermeasures and is designed to combat aircraft, cruise missiles and drones at altitudes of 0.3-40 km, flying at speeds of up to 4300 km/h, at ranges of up to 300 km. The S-200 uses semi-active homing missiles. After detecting a target, a special radar "illuminates" it - continuously and automatically follows the target by angular coordinates, speed and distance. Thank you Russia. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room III
The Russians complain that the Armed Forces are using the tactic of using master UAVs for FPV drones The base ship drops FPV drones in the rear of the Russian Federation to launch strikes at a depth of 20-30 km. FPV with a heavier payload is applied to the mother drone (Baba Yaga type) at maximum distance and altitude. After that, the FPV "disappears" and flies to the target The mother drone also acts as a repeater. In this way, the drone saves battery and flies a greater distance + the weight of the warhead increases. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room III
We have a weapon that hit a target 700 km away, - Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine He noted that strikes on strategic objects inside the Russian Federation were carried out by Ukrainian-made drones. Also during the Kyiv Forum "Ukraine. Year 2024", the Ministry of Statistics Fedorov said that 300,000 engineers and 200 companies produce UAVs in Ukraine. Also in his words: — The drone army managed to destroy or damage 16,404 units of enemy equipment. — The goal of 1 million FPV drones by 2024 will be met. — 90% of all UAVs used by the Defense Forces on the battlefield are manufactured in Ukraine. — technological goals of Ukraine at the front for 2024: Ukrainian Lancet; REB; robotic platforms; ammunition for drones; AI and computer vision technologies for targeting; technological protection of the sky. |
