Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room III
Video is sideways most of the time. lol "A Ukrainian soldier with a Turkish Repkon Defense RDS40-MGL grenade launcher during a training shoot at one of the firing ranges in the rear. This is not the first time that this weapon has been seen in the hands of our soldiers. Instead, there were no official messages about the transfer of RDS40-MGL either from us or from Turkey. What is interesting is that the RDS40-MGL is a newly developed product, the tests of which were supposed to end in 2022 with the adoption into service of the Turkish Armed Forces."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room III
"The Armed Forces received (https://defence-blog.com/ukrainian-t...-from-germany/) several long-range Titan ****** drones printed on a 3D printer. Three such drones have already been produced and were handed over to the Armed Forces. Two devices are currently being tested in the operational conditions of Ukraine, demonstrating their adaptability and reliability in various terrain conditions. The Titan ****** can fly for up to 6 hours and has a range of 400 kilometers. Equipped with an FPV camera for real-time surveillance. The adaptive design also allows you to install a camera with a 2.5-inch lens, which expands its reconnaissance capabilities. ℹ️ All this within the framework of assistance from the American-Ukrainian public organization and the German company Donaustahl GmbH."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room III
"Meanwhile, soldiers of the 146th separate repair and restoration regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are mastering the repair of Leopard 1A5 tanks at one of the Krauss-Maffei Wegmann enterprises in Germany." "Iran's "Ashura" University of Aerospace Sciences and Technology has publicly (https://twitter.com/mil_in_ua) unveiled a new Shahed-238 jet attack drone and a new hypersonic missile called Fattah-2. Shahed-238 was presented in three versions. In addition to the classic version with an autonomous guidance system based on the inertial system and GPS signals, variants with infrared/optical and, probably, radar guidance systems were also shown. The latter drone, thanks to its radar GNSS, could become an analogue of anti-radar missiles guided by search radar. Such a tool could be useful for neutralising and breaking through enemy air defence systems. The technical characteristics of the Shahed-238 remain unknown. The jet engine is supposed to provide high speed, but the price for this is a reduced range. Fattah-2 is a further development of the Fattah-1 ballistic missile, which received a new warhead and is based on hypersonic glide vehicle technology. The missile has an elongated fuselage with aerodynamic rudders in the aft section, which should reduce drag and help manoeuvre in dense atmospheric layers. This effectively makes it a hypersonic cruise missile. The advantages of this design, compared to conventional ballistic and cruise missiles, should be the high speed of passage through enemy airspace at low altitudes outside the radar range, which minimises the risk of interception."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room III
"The Ukrainian Backfire drone is resistant to Russian electronic warfare. Backfire is already operating at the front and has completed at least 50 successful missions in two months." The Houthis apparently wanted to annoy Israel by seizing the ship. However, this ship belongs to the British, who leased it to a Japanese company. There were no Israelis on board, the entire crew was international. At the time of the hijacking, there were 25 crew members on board, including Ukrainians, Bulgarians, Filipinos and Mexicans. The second video shows the hijacked Galaxy Leader entering the Yemeni port of Hodeidah."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room III
I think we haven't seen the worst of drones yet. Mini drone swarms controlled by AI are gona be the worst. They don't require a radio signal to function and can do maneuvers in real time, without human involvement. Some interesting footage of drones: This would be crazy...and that video is already 5 years old. AI has done huge leaps in the last 5 years. |

"The Supreme Leader of Iran arrived today, accompanied by the Commander of the Air and Space Forces of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, to caress the "Iranian hypersonic missile" (or so the Iranians claim) called "Fatah 2"."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room III
VIDEO: "History in Argentina: Javier Milei, staunchly conservative and right-wing, was elected president of Argentina. Milei is an ardent supporter of Israel and the USA and according to foreign sources they estimate that the first political move he will make as president may be to visit Israel. I will mention that Argentina was, in the past decades, comfortable ground for Hezbollah to develop and prosper. Hopefully this will take a dramatic turn. In the attached video Milei is seen at a demonstration in support of Israel against the backdrop of the war in Gaza." "And here he is being criticized for his support of Israel". "The Russians are a little less pleased with Milei's election as president - he is known as an ardent supporter of Ukraine as well."
