Moldova finds missile debris in its north after Russian air strike

CHISINAU, Feb 16 (Reuters) - A police patrol found missile debris in northern Moldova on Thursday, hours after overnight Russian missile strikes on targets in neighbouring Ukraine, police said.

The debris was found near the border with Ukraine in the village of Larga, police said in a statement. It is at least the fourth time since November that missile debris has been found in Moldova since Russia invaded Ukraine almost a year ago.

The reports came as Moldova's parliament was preparing to vote on approving a new prime minister who is expected to continue the former Soviet republic's pro-Western course and seek accession to the European Union.

Moldova has condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine and its president accused Moscow this week of plotting to use foreign saboteurs to bring down her small country's leadership.

Moscow, which denied that charge, did not immediately comment about the missile debris.

If the RU soldiers were brainwashed when they first got on the front lines, surely reality hit them squarely in the face when they go there.

Reminds me of the stories that came out when they first invaded. They were told they were going there to liberate the Ukrainian people from evil Nazi's and would be welcomed by the people.

Countless interviews with RU pows in absolutely shock once they got there and saw the reality of the situation.

Okay well the independent republics were invaded first by ukraine so maybe you were talking about that?

It has always been like this. Replace “RU” with “**”, “Ukrainian” with “*****”, “*****”, “*******”, whatever and “Nazis” with “******” “******” “*****” and so on.

What veterans do in large numbers (larger than any other parts of the population) is often indication of what they did. No matter which country they illegally invaded, its always the same.

We civilians cheer for people killing each other while the humans/soldiers who actually do this for our oil or entertainment can often never return to their lives. But Slava Ukraine!!, amirite?
