The Colorado Candy Canon

Today with my family and friends I attended a fall/halloween festival at a farm and they had a gas powered candy "canon". I've concluded it's more of a candy shotgun. Candy dispersement out of the barrel at even extreme close range was substantial, a wad in the barrel was necessary for the 25lb candy payload to consistently exit the barrel, and the northeast wind significantly affected the candy's trajectory, resulting in arrivals at the northern most portion of the crowd. Tootsie rolls and Smarties were included in the payload.
