I thought this deserved its own thread. Here we see child soldiers training. I don’t approve of child soldiers; they hard to hit (both visually due to their smaller stature as well as figuratively/ethically), and even more important: children are the future. Will there even be a future for their kids if this cycle of hate continues? Who knows.

Anyway if anybody can geolocate the footage; don’t be a dick and send it to the Kremlin or anything, spamwich this is the only time where you cannot post the location we never know who could be reading this

Russian-led forces and armed groups backed by the Russian government have recruited and used child soldiers in several armed conflicts. Russian-led forces have used child soldiers in Ukraine for a variety of combat and support roles since invading the country in 2014, including performing armed duty at checkpoints and serving as fighters, guards, couriers, and secretaries. Following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, there have also been uncorroborated reports of Russian-led forces using children as human shields as well as reports of Russian government-associated military associations and clubs preparing children in Russian-controlled territory in Ukraine for conscription into Russia’s armed forces. Russian-led forces also reportedly recruit children in Syria to fight and guard installations in Libya.

Additionally, the Wagner Group – an armed group backed by the Russian government – was reported to have forcibly recruited and used children in the Central African Republic as laborers and to gather intelligence between March 2020 and April 2021.

Russia has separated thousands of Ukrainian children from their families or caregivers and held them in camps and facilities where they are exposed to a Russia-centric curriculum, a new report shows . Many children are still missing.

More than 6,000 Ukrainian children between the ages of 4 months to 17 years have been taken to facilities designed to mold them into Russian citizens following the February 2022 full-scale invasion, Yale’s Humanitarian Research Lab said. The camps are spread widely from Russia-occupied Crimea in Ukraine to Russia’s Far East.

The report said many children are eventually returned to their parents, but others have been held for months at these camps, including hundreds of children whose status is unknown.

Ukrainian officials have estimated more than 14,000 children from Ukraine have been sent to Russia, but the actual number could be much higher.

Researchers used satellite imagery and public information such as social media posts to identify the camps and confirm the presence of Ukrainian children.

Among the major findings:

Russia operates a vast network of at least 43 known facilities.
Ukrainian children were placed with “foster families” in Russia. Some were “adopted,” given Russian nationality and passports, and denied their Ukrainian citizenship.
Some children are forced into pro-Russia re-education programs. Some are given military training.
Dozens of officials at all levels of Russia’s government are involved in the planning of removals, camp operations, and ways to prevent the return of children to Ukraine.

A shocking new video out of Crimea shows Russian efforts to recruit and indoctrinate kids by forcing them through military training exercises, including martial arts lessons and rifle-handling classes.

Shared by Russian state media, the disturbing recording shows a young boy and girl in Simferopol, the peninsula’s second-largest city, racing to assemble Kalashnikov-style rifles at their desks, according to a report from Business Insider.

When the two finish — within moments of each other — another student asks, “Who won?”

That's because it's a volunteer summercamp for patriotic believes and possible, be prepared, protection, skills in case a country decides to invade them, which actually happened years later and still going on.

The U.S. has a nonprofit Army Cadet Corps and an annual Cadet summer training event where they can learn survival and army skills but not some brainwashing forcible thing like in the articles i posted. Other countries have their own versions.

Who's to say that what your posting is actual Ukrainian footage & not more ruskie propagander that your well known for, orcs in UAF BDU's.

Also, there NOT children. They are teenagers being taught how to defend themselves just like scouts learn dif things.

Great, I have some content to share. This is all Russian footage. Russian children or children in Crimea under Russian occupation. Some of them very young children.

I'm not posting the information that goes with it all as it's all available in the mobilization/sabotage threads for the last 6-7 months. I could produce a lot more from before that time but I think this is sufficient.

The first video with English translation is a Russian soldier giving a message to children... it was called out as a fake by someone on this forum and admittedly, the quality of that video was shit and did make it look pretty questionable. So I found a better quality version and it turned out to be legit.

Referring to picture two, while I hate to see children not learning to never point firearms at each other , if they are truly getting brain washed then maybe in the long run that's for the best.
