Sunni Syrian forces organized an invasion column into Shiite controlled Lebanon in what appears to be an expansion of their occupation into Lebanon.

You have to understand these people are nothing like us in the west. They are fighting on the same lands where hundreds of wars have been fought. And territories where entire cities were surrounded, and slaughtered. Armies od over 100,000 men fought, and 60,000 lay dead, and their women taken as slaves, their children thrown into fires. And they aren't far from that same mentality. These people would be right at home fighting in the crusade era, or the Roman or Alexander era.

Things are heating up in Syria. Two press reports attempting to summarize the chaos, and some vids mostly of street fighting and ending with random shooting just for the hell of it, apparently.

Escalation in Syria: Clashes intensify as multiple fronts erupt

Many "semi-unverified" reports are flooding the networks from Syria, and even over the border with Lebanon. We are trying to bring these reports together with a sort of interim summary.

LATAKIA UNDER FIRE AS RESISTANCE GAINS GROUND

Latakia has become the epicenter of escalating violence in Syria. In a significant development, a HTS Regime helicopter attacking Assad’s forces was shot down, and the pilots were captured. Meanwhile, the Syrian Navy in Latakia has now fallen back under the control of Assad's forces, shifting the balance of power in the coastal region.

The so-called "Coast Guard Brigade" has issued a call for Druze and Kurds to join the resistance against the Assad regime, signaling a potential expansion of the conflict. The Syrian resistance also reportedly took control of Brigade 107 in Latakia, further challenging the Syrian government’s hold on the region.

A curfew has been declared across Latakia and Tartus as instability spreads. Adding to the chaos, Tahrir al-Sham forces have deployed snipers in multiple areas, with reports of indiscriminate fire causing civilian distress.

TURKISH MILITARY ACTIVITY ESCALATES

The Turkish military has launched airstrikes targeting the Tashrin and Deir Hafir dam lines in the eastern and southern regions of Manbij. Additionally, heavy Turkish military movement has been observed along the Syria-Turkey border, with reports of an army convoy entering northwestern Syria.

Turkish F-16 jets are also carrying out strikes against Iranian Islamic Republic rebel positions, escalating tensions with Iranian-backed forces in the region.

Turkish armored brigades have moved into Syria and are advancing toward Idlib and Aleppo, potentially setting the stage for a larger confrontation.

SYRIAN GOVERNMENT FACES INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL THREATS

The Syrian Defense Ministry spokesperson issued a stern warning to war criminals, stating that they will be brought to justice. In Latakia Governorate, the Syrian Observatory reports that 28 pro-Assad militants were killed by Syrian security forces, raising questions about internal conflicts within Assad’s ranks.

Meanwhile, Syrian media reports indicate that eight Iranian IRGC mercenaries fighting against Syrian government forces have been captured, highlighting the complex and shifting alliances within the war-torn country.

REGIONAL TENSIONS AND ISRAELI PRESENCE

Israeli reinforcements have arrived at Jabal in the village of Al-Quneitra in southern Syria, adding another dimension to the already volatile situation. In response, Syria has seen a general mobilization in one of its villages against the Israeli army, while in Daraa, loudspeakers are reportedly calling on residents to confront Israeli forces.

Clashes have also erupted in the Eastern Chain over the town of Anjar, Lebanon, further demonstrating how Syria’s conflict is spilling into neighboring territories.

HOSPITAL UNDER SIEGE IN LATAKIA

In a dramatic turn of events, Jabal al-Nur Hospital in Latakia has been surrounded by Syrian resistance fighters. Calls have been heard urging Tahrir al-Sham forces inside to surrender, raising concerns about a potential humanitarian crisis if medical services are disrupted.

INTERIM CONCLUSION

A massive crackdown against the Alawite community in Latakia is now being carried-out by the new Syrian Jihadist Regime. After bombing and rocketing homes of Alawites, they are now raining their buildings with bullets using machine guns and anti-aircraft cannons!

A massive ethnic-cleansing operation is currently on-going in Latakia and Tartus.

Terrorists of the new Syrian Jihadist regime are attacking Alawite communities of these cities under the false claim of confronting remnants of the Assad regime.

The new Syrian army is being moved into these cities of confrontation, which may just make things worse!
