Breaking news Ukraine allowed to hit some targets in Russia with US weapons - reports https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy770l9llnzo Wonder if this will escalate it as I read yesterday some russian think tank are saying Pootin should explode a nuke to let the west know he’s serious. Maybe he’ll do it now? |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread VIII
Today there was an exchange of prisoners of war in the format of 75 for 75 people. Among those returned to Ukraine are women, border guards, servicemen of "Azov", national guardsmen from the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and defenders of Zmiiny Island.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread VIII
But yeah, when Germany invaded USSR, UA people greeted germans as liberators. That speeks for itself. Russian induced famine 1932-33 and many other things make ukrainian people to think germans are less worse than russians. So that is why ukraine was always somehow ideologicaly connected to nazi Germany and russian propaganda use this narrative very often. Although russians were main cause of this.
