Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
So dramatic... all hands on deck? I can't help that there are more people that disagree with you here than agree with you but we're not conspiring together behind the scenes to jump on anyone. It's an open forum, that's the way it works. I just said the other day regarding Duntez in so many words... he was born in Ukraine on or around when it was still a part of the Soviet Union, or raised by parents who were a part of that era... and he can't help that. I personally don't hold how he was brought up against him. If anything it helps me understand him better. I don't understand how he can feel the way he feels about anything Russian taking over in Ukraine, but how could I? I am not him. But instead of fearing it or getting angry, I try to use that to understand the situation better overall. Shit has gotten crazy in here recently... people in here are accusing him of celebrating Ukrainian deaths which is something I have NEVER seen him do. Ever. There are one or two who do, but not Duntez. I think Duntez's position is unique, out of everyone in here. He's from the region. He's lived it. That goes a long way with me. Out of everyone who I disagree with, he's been the easiest person to talk to about our differences. That also, goes a long way with me. Somethings he talks about make me cringe physically... but I'm SURE he can say the same about me. Anyway, how do you know what I've said to Roosta and what I haven't? There you go again thinking you know shit you don't know. I've said things to Roosta in the past about his comments. One time he was pretty upset with me about it and fucked off all my posts for a couple days. I've even called out someone in here who constantly bitches about the footage posted while calling for Russian genocide. That shit isn't good either. Roosta is not anyone's dog. He's his own person. I wish he would chill out too as my point applies that everyone has the "right" to feel the way the feel and no one is going to change their minds. He's seen me say it before because he's been here the whole time. Beyond saying something to him, you or anyone, I hold no further power or authority here. Again, everything I say should be taken as suggestions. lol You just recently started interacting here and seem to have all the answers as to what is going to take place in the future with this war, what politics people here practice, and what conversations I've had or not had with certain people. Those are traits that a couple others I've disagreed with have as well... it just baffles me. But my message applies to everyone, you just happen to be the one trying to shove your views down people's throats at the moment. But by all means, continue.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
Likewise, first Putin resorted to levying onerous taxes on both companies and people leaving Russia after the invasion before he dropped all pretense and just started indiscriminately seizing money and property instead. Similarly, Putin has abandoned all pretense of responsible fiscal policy, running record budget deficits, printing record amounts of money out of thin air, forcing Russian banks and individuals to buy near-worthless Russian debt, and drawing down Russia’s hundreds of billions in sovereign wealth funds, mortgaging away Russia’s future. No wonder disenchanted elites such as oligarch Oleg Deripaska are reduced to complaining to the press while across Russia, labor strikes are taking place with increasing frequency in a throwback to 1917 amidst already disastrous labor shortages. https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/i...ssian-economy/ https://time.com/6291642/putin-canni...ssian-economy/ |

Who cares if I just recently started interacting here. It’s a public forum. If you wanted an echo chamber you should have just created a closed group. Anyway, I’m outta here. The only time you’ll hear from me again is when Ukraine declares neutrality or is completely under Russia’s control. |
