The actual neo-nazis taking pot shots at the Russians is something I'll sit back and enjoy. Same for the jihadists that are showing up in small groups for the same reason. I don't think they will get any of the resources directly/hopefully. But for the same reason we worked with the Soviets against the Nazis in WWII, you don't always like it, but it is useful.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread (Part Zero): 24 Feb - 31 Mar 2022
Ah, it sure is useful. -Allied with Soviets until they threatened to conquer all Europe, precipitating the US to drop two A-bombs on Japan to put the soviets back in their place -Armed the Mujaheddin in Afghanistan against the USSR until they became the “bad guys” and flew two airplanes in the WTC Libya, Syria etc etc etc Same shit, different conflict. Alliances with diametrically opposed factions turns to shit in the end. Necessary? Perhaps. The Uke neo-Nazis will get fucked big time as soon as the West establishes its dominance in the Ukraine. You think the west will let Zelensky or his successor tolerate them? Lmaoooo! |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread (Part Zero): 24 Feb - 31 Mar 2022
Some history concerning the DPR. Since the maiden revolution, Dontesk has become something of a fugitive state. Complete with Russian aid and ij some cases, Russian soldiers. Dontesk oblast, ( oblast meaning province, similar to a state for you Americans, or a county in Ireland. ) It's majority speak Russian, and share a common culture with Ukrainans.the land is Ukrainian and ethnically, their Ukrainans. The war in 2014, which obviously lead to this war, ended in a temporary cease fire. ( Minsk 1, 2 and 3) yet, Russia recognized Dontesk as its own nation. (Two days before the war) Mariupol shares a border with Dontesk, which shares a border with Luhansk, which shares a border with kharkov oblast. The short lived kharkov peoples Republic, which was wiped out by the Azov, before it was even called Azov, is what got us recognition from Poreshenko. Dontesk seized Mariupol as a result of this. Azov then seized it back, along with several other cities. As a tactical and non political factor... Dontesk people's republic have been fighting on and off for 8 years. Same with the Azov regiment. They're better equipped as soldiers meaning they understand the environment around them alot better than Russian conscripts do, especially Mariupol. Hence why there is Dontesk passports. But, nevertheless their caught in Russian vehicles, wearing Russian uniforms and coming from the east of mariupol and not coming from Berdyansk. Which means their here with the aforementioned rifle division. |

Pretty interesting how the Russians and Chechens were at each other's throats for so long now Putin and them are "friends" if you could call it that. Almost like years down the road us teaming up with the Taliban

This is exactly the strategy of the Russian Army. They use Chechens with different uniform and equipment, so Putin can pretend that Chechens killing innocent people have nothing to do with the Russian Army itself. |

That does seem to be a favoured tactic of the Kremlin. Attack and install a pro Russian leader and puppet government. It wouldn't surprise me if that's the plan for Ukraine

Putin had that worm Yanukovych as Ukraine puppet president and he got ran out of office in 2014. Hand it to the Russians thinking a second puppet will work after the most destructive war in Europe since WW2. Real geniuses they've got at the helm over there |
