Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread (Part Zero): 24 Feb - 31 Mar 2022
Zerodark, I am an American who has eastern European roots. I am the great grandson of the man who owned the shipyards of Riga, Latvia during Bolshevik revolution times, who was murdered in front of his family while the eldest daughter hid in a barn. I know modern Russians largely do not support this current Putin bullshit. Many Russians pretend to support Putin out of fear which is understandable. I have no delusions regarding the lack of freedoms in Russia, even today. That being said, I feel sorry for the Russians in Russian land who have a conscience. They are not guilty. But after these recent events, if they continue to give support to this monster with no question, they have nothing but blood on their hands - as any citizen of a modern country who has a madman calling the shots. This is a most unfortunate situation, in which everyday Russians must pick their side - this is a dangerous decision for them. I am an American veteran, I spent some time in the Army. If I had some psychopath in control of my country, as the Russian Federation does currently, I would find it my own duty to remove him from power. Putin has no place in modern society, no place in a modern EARTH. He deserves a bullet or a hangman's noose, no less. The average Russian does not deserve this, but it is largely their responsibility to see that through. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread (Part Zero): 24 Feb - 31 Mar 2022
I agree with pretty much all of what you said I have a Russian wife and she very much does not support putin nor does her family not even her dad and he is ex KGB that's saying somthing! One point I do disagree with is Russian people having to choose a side most will choose putin as to do otherwise is just asking to be jailed you have to remember he has very tight constraints on the people so I don't think it is a fair statement to say they would have blood on their hands as the same could be said for the UK and USA! Fact is most Russians do not want this was as they can see how much it is hurting them they know that they are going to be poor now and have to work 7days a week just to eat but what! But how can they change this as if they protest they face 15years in jail this man is off he's nuts and has far to much power. Unfortunately it is only a matter of time untill Ukraine falls and we have a Morden day USSR! I really do feel for the Russian people as we have family in Russia and close friends in Ukraine of who we are working on visas to get them to the UK so they can live with us for a time untill this shit is sorted. I appreciate the civil discourse |

I'm sure you want to fight and good for you I'm sure you can get a visa there. They need all the help they can get! But really I can five you my account name on hack the box go and check it out its just somthing I do in my free time I don't mind giving you lessons if you are interested? But I do not do dark shit with it only good I don't cope well in tight spaces so going to prison scares me. |
