Hahaha, yeah just like they claimed to have no loses from the Russian side, or did they send all the Belarussians first?

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread (Part Zero): 24 Feb - 31 Mar 2022
Some cheerful news. A. Russia has been cut off from SWIFT, the international banking network. There are already reports that ATM cards are no longer working in parts of Russia. B. The Russian advance is slowing down. U.S. Intelligence says that the Russians are running out of fuel, and are having great difficulty in resupplying their troops with food and ammunition. They are supposedly out of diesel fuel completely. C. Many of the troops are recruits, who were told they were going on "Maneuvers" NOT into battle. Russian morale is reported as low. The Russians have FAILED to take ANY large city so far. Citizens are fighting ferociously. D. The Ukrainian military is STILL holding onto assets that are operable, including Air Force aircraft that continue to fight, and anti-tank units that are taking a heavy toll of Russian equipment. Their drone force is also still fully in action. I was commenting earlier on lack of context, because I couldn't tell if what we were seeing was Ukrainian wins or losses, but it appears that nearly all this stuff is Ukrainian WINS. The Russians have tried to infiltrate Ukrainian cities using soldiers in civilian clothes, and vehicles with no markings, with these people acting as raiders. It appears that SEVERAL of these videos here, are of Russian infiltration units that have been identified and destroyed. The vehicles we see destroyed and burnt out are of the Russian shadow forces. The Ukrainians are now using daily pass-words, and checking groups of people who are not known the them as locals. The Russians have now called for a meeting and arbitration, but according to Zelensky, the Ukrainians will give NO GROUND WHATSOEVER. Zelensky was told that he could leave (be evacuated by NATO) the country if he wanted, but has said he is NOT going anywhere. He is putting out broadcasts every day in front of well-known Ukrainian landmarks, to prove he is still there. Zelensky has got some HUGE balls, in my opinion. I hope the Ukrainians win! |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread (Part Zero): 24 Feb - 31 Mar 2022
I am no military strategist, but how did Putin think this invasion would be effective? Looks like the russian soldiers have little to no training, tactical knowledge, or modern equipment. They just keep lining up on the roads waiting for an air strike. Guerrilla warfare by itself would be difficult to handle with a ground invasion, let alone taking it from the Ukrainian air and ground forces as well. Glad Russia appears to be losing, but it seems like the smart thing to do would have been to bomb Ukraine’s military bases, infrastructure, supply routes for a couple of weeks before an invasion. At this rate Russia will lose more people by the end of the week than the US lost in both Iraq and Afghanistan over almost 20 years. Don’t see any way that Putin survives this. |

Great assessment! It's still very early in this shitshow, but I'm leaning Kremlin under-estimated the world's hatred for everything Russian. Which they have earned, to be fair. Hacking into hospitals and shit, the fuck wrong with them? The most surprising development is Ukraine's Anywho, fuck both these guys. I'm still holding out for a giant parking lot for food-trucks. |

Is anyone as confused as I am about the markings on the vehicles of the russian cowards? I've also seen russians with white and red arm and leg bands in different videos. Let me know if you can fill in the blanks or fix any discrepancies below. Thanks! Combatant Colors: Yellow Arm Band: Ukrainian SoldierPainted Symbols on Russian Military Equipment: White Slash (/) Mark: ? |
