No, it is not ethnicity issue! Ukrainians and Russian are Slavic people, same as my country Bulgaria.
The problem is that Putin won't allow Ukraine to become NATO member... But USA and NATO want to control that poor country. So it seem Putin doesn't have choice, rather to invade and most probably remove the Ukraine president, who is licking Nato asses. Russian is the biggest country in the world, they do not need more territory. Let's hope of quick end of that sad war. It is frightening

BTW, everyone forgot the Ukrainian shelling of Civilians of Donbass? 2014 ... But the killed a lot of people by randomly shelling Eastern Ukrainian Cities...

So not too much mercy for the Kiev supported army..

Russia is also No Saint, but at least this escalation of Violence might Finally put an end to this armed conflict

Putin believes Ukraine is ancient Russian land, this is his attempt at reassembly at the cost of human life.

He is denying their sovereignty, sure USA may want to exploit their position previously but they are not the aggressors this is solely Putin’s Gangster elite (government lul) doing what he wants

I was replying to the American who brought race into it. I agree that this conflict is not about ethnicity or race
