Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IX
I'm sure Rocket Man will have something to say now that he has boots on the ground in Ukraine & in all likelihood won't walk away as easily at ppl may expect. Trump & Putin may want to cut a deal & end this, but will Rocket Man Capitulate & withdraw his troops without regret & loosing face that he's lost troops in Ukraine as he's also a pride & egotistical driven asshole that has nuclear capability. Time will tell as they say but during this time, a lot of ppl are going to die quite unnecessarily I might add, all at the hands of a couple of assholes that couldn't give a fuck about anyone but themselves. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IX
Hopefully once Trump has access to people who actually know what they're talking about, they'll be able to educate him on the advantages of ensuring a win for Ukraine through continued support. Ukrainian capitulation will only 'stop people dying' temporarily. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IX
Hope Trump is surrounded by more competent people now as he wasn't during his first term. China is way more important to the U.S. and Trump. Think he wants to reverse russia’s increasing dependence on China. Like said i think he will guide/force them into cutting a deal, or else flooding and allowing Ukraine to use the better US weapons. Crimea and Donbas for Putin. A withdrawel of troops (safe zone) at their borders. Don't think he will allow Ukr to be part of nato though. Maybe a sovereign state and likely to let Europe pay for the rebuilt.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IX
Interesting times ahead that's for sure but IMO, Trump being a deal maker will sort something out rather than direct conflict as he knows that killing leads to more killing & that's no good for business. The US needs China on board as they basically manufacture everything & hold a huge sway in things, so maybe the US & China join forces & create a new strategic alliance & force Rocket Man & Poo Tin to back the fuck off for the sake of business or go about ending them which won't be good for anyone, but one things for sure, this shit has got to stop. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IX
For all intents and purposes, trump works for Putin, so, Putin won the US elections. Ukraine is in trouble now, since all US aid will come to a stop once trump settles in. Actually, All of Europe is at a knifes edge now and must increase its defense spending many times to counter the russian threat alone. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IX
Why are you upset about this? You seem like the type of person who are not interested in peace. Trump has promised to end the war in Ukraine, which is what this thing should be about, yet it seems like you are more focused on criticizing Trump. Do you actually want the conflict to continue until every last Ukrainian are dead?

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IX
If thats how it seems to you, then to me, it seems like you are a bad judge of character. I never wanted this war in the first place and im all for peace in all parts of the world. Who cares what Trump said about "ending the war". Almost everything he says is statistically and demonstrably wrong...a lie you might say. He said he will end the war in less than 24 hours. Do you really think that's what he is gonna do? He does THE lowest level populism possible, and people just gobble it up. You also fail to comprehend how deep in Russias' pockets he is. He is a felon, a wannabe dictator and he admires fascist regimes and dictators. I'm not a US citizen so i can see the US politics from an objective bystander perspective. He is a cartoonish caricature of a fascist populist. You also fail to understand that there are different ways to end the war. Capitulation of Ukraine is the worst way because it more or less guarantees a next, more serious war later down the line. You might as well say that Hitler wanted peace too, and he wanted to end the war. His peace plan included owning Russia, France and UK. Does that really sound like a good way to make peace? Giving a dictator what he wants. And even if UK, France and Russia had capitulated in second world war in the name of peace, would it have really stopped Hitler going further and starting a war in China for example? Dictators must take a loss in order to stop their aggression. Same goes for all kinds of bullies. Its part of human psychology. As long as aggression gives you what you want, you keep using it as your main tool. Trump on that regard is the weakest president US has ever had, because he is all about self interests and he can easily be bought. Russia will throw a few hundred million towards Trump via secret shell companies and All aid to Ukraine will come to a halt. He will then probably start removing sanctions from russia, one by one, using some economic excuses of why its the best thing in the world. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IX
Let's not rush to judge what may or may not happen. I believe Trump will bring peace between Russia and Ukraine. "I'm not a US citizen" well, me neither, but the way you jump in with your boy Zelensky everytime it's about Ukraine tells me you are Ukrainian. At the end of the day, America voted, and the majority chose Trump. Like him or not, he delivered better results than Biden. They chose him for a reason. Let's hope something good comes out of this. |
