Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
Could both of you...and wailode move these personal attacks into private chat and keep this forum for actual discussion. Its gettig annoying having to scroll through childish babbling to get to real arguments :D So...lets bring this thread back to topic. What do you guys think is gona happen once Putin kicks the bucket? Is Russia gona fully ebrace nazism, declare full mobilization and attack NATO in one huge Zerg rush, or will the current dictator be replaced with someone who is interested in Restoring Russian reputation and its place in the world by ending the war and rolling back all the nazi-propaganda? What if Navalnõi was freed and took over the government? Would he be interested in ending the war? He seems like a reasonable guy. Putin is keeping him alive for something. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
I’m cool until this dude opens his teeth less mouth. I honestly don’t know what’s gonna be next. War will go on imo. If Putin will be murdered nothing is going to change in regards of war. Not until elites will be removed by some revolution. And Navalniy, I don’t trust him. He’s been caught lying many times. And there are so many brainless fucks working for him that it’s disgusting |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
Why would ukrainian propaganda be part of global security? Fighting against dictators is part of world security. Not allowing coutnries to claim territories though war is part of global security. As i said before...if you allow dictators take lands through wars, then they will keep doing so and only escalate. This is 21st century, and its baffling that people still worship other people and treat them as gods. Putin in Russia( especially in rural parts ) has a god like status. Nothing he says can be wrong and everything he says is true. If putin says invasion is necessary and murdering children is ok...then its ok. They know more than we simpletons do. I have a quick quesiton for you as well. Based on some repeating patterns and phrases you have used...it seems like you are 1) Fox news addict 2) Know and love tucker carlson 3) Trump supporter 4) Fundamentalist religious extremist( i.e christian ) 5) Republican I didnt mean anything above as offensive...im just checking if you are part of a common pattern. How many of the above 5 describe you? |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
Don't know much about Navalny but he seems reasonable. Curious what duntez was talking about. I too have noticed that people who hold pro-Rus views (not just here on DR) seem to 100% be on the conservative side of politics. It's bizarre to me, I think a lot of them just don't like what liberals cheer for and they go for the opposite by default. But even with that most conservatives here in the US are anti-Russia. But then you get people like that coworker of mine and one of my neighbors who go full retard mode with anti Ukraine conspiracy propaganda. Biolabs, Satanism, Zelenskiy a drug addict, you name it. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
Re: ask those friends of yours to share their info and links. It's interesting to back-trace the propaganda. It's almost certainly coming from Russia. I too have noticed that people who hold pro-Rus views (not just here on DR) seem to 100% be on the conservative side of politics. Conservatism favors authoritarianism, theocracy and old people in general. I have noticed that in general, conservatives are far more easily persuaded by propaganda and false information. I.e look at trump supporters and the claims they made. From Q-anon, to pedofile rings to lizard men and all kinds of utter nonsense. You could see how they simply repeated fox news propaganda verbatim without thinking. You could see how they were so obsessed by all kinds of simple one line slogans and mantras. Constant repetition of mantras. Dogmatic beliefs in politicians. Conservatives are also much more likely to be ultra-religious...and well, it's easy to get fooled by propaganda if you believe in talking snakes, Noah's ark and 6000-year-old earth. It's no surprise at all that Pro-Rus = conservatives. Putin was quite normal and progressive before he "entered his golden years" and flipped to hard-core conservatism. He now pushes his batshit crazy Russian orthodox Christianity as "the truth" and his oppressive "family values" as a virtue. Western conservatives hear "Putin hates gays and promotes god and family values" and that's it. That's all they need to know to support him. |
