Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
I know by saying any of what I about to say is not going to make one bit of difference but I'm going to say it anyway. Again. No one is telling Russia to make peace because they are not the one being invaded by another country. They are not the ones in the position of perceived submission to have to go and "submit" or concede to an invading country's demands. The terms with peace talks with Putin at this point in the game should be for Russia to get the fuck out of Ukraine and take anyone who does not want to live under Ukrainian law with them. Besides, peace talks are easy for us armchair generals, and peoples living in outside countries snug as a bug in a rug in the comfort of our homes to suggest. We're all bitching and moaning about inflation, gas prices, and ridiculous food costs but we're all alive and not being targeted by missiles. So it's real easy for anyone not being invaded by a massive country to urge one who is to give in because we're feeling it too. But we're not being bombarded with bombs, having our homes destroyed, families coerced, abducted and/or killed on our own land. Ukraine is no longer Russia's bitch and they are currently not willing to be Russia's bitch again. Doesn't matter why or who... Ukraine is Ukraine and only Ukraine can give away Ukraine. They don't want to so they will fight those in their territories trying to take it. It's really very simple. That is the fundamental FACT that seems conveniently ignored constantly in this argument on your side of the isle. It sucks for those who want it to be something other than Ukraine, but the fact remains, it's not and Ukraine does not want to allow that to happen on their territory. I don't understand why this is so hard to comprehend. If my neighbor decides he wants the whole eastern and southern patch of my lush, sun rich and fertile lawn to expand his veggie garden and merge it with my own veggie garden; and then if he wanted to be the only one to decide what gets planted, how it's tended to, and be the only one to eat those vegetables, sell them and keep all the profits from what my soil produces all to himself, you know what I would tell him? Fuck right off. Haven't "noveled" anyone in a while. Thanks for the opportunity.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
Some tried but the “global community” has its head so far up its ass that they only learn or understand something once CNN tells them to https://www.rferl.org/a/children-war.../30193005.html https://www.rferl.org/a/ukraine-unic.../28316323.html But it has always been like this, so no news here |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
I see. In any way the video really messed me up. The ‘father’ though in the second part is wearing some top camo, so I hope it’s another person that died and that the family is safe. If they had footage of the dead kids then they would have shown it for sure. But at the same time I feel really sad for those people. The saddest thing is they were born into the war. Their whole life has been this war which is really weird when you think about it.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
Where do you think I'm referring to when I talk about the people wanting to make territories in Ukraine their own or Russia? Fiji? I can't speak for the rest on this site or the world but you two seem to be absolutely STUCK in believing that people in the west and US in general are all the same, you know what news I read, you know what I am thinking all the time and that I hate Russia/Donbas/Crimea. I do give a shit about those people. People like your mom who have no influence or power on this war and live in a place they loathe but are powerless to make the changes they want to see. Or how the people who do have power are using violence as a means to and end whoring themselves out to Vladimir Putin to do it. The fact still remains... and it's very simple... Ukraine does not want to give those areas up. Case closed, end of story. If you can produce undeniable proof to me that Ukraine has no legal right or "ownership" of the country of Ukraine, then let's talk. I have attempted, more times than most "westerners" or "global community" people would even entertain with the two of you to have civil discussions about all of this, free of bickering, insults, and degradation. I get nothing back but just that... along with assumptions, mind reading, and personal insults about whether I'm happy with my body, my relationship, and whether I'm addicted to drugs and alcohol. Now I have my "cnn reading" head up my ass and don't care about the Donbas. I'm absolutely done making an effort. My real life relationships aren't this tedious, vampiric and high maintenance.
