Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
I said 100s times here I dont have a problems accepting the fact that Russians committed a crime when proven and that those who's behind that crime needs to be punished accordingly. And you forgot about "cutting balls off" I said I hope they will be found and pay for it. Unless he raped a child. And you replied - with something like I would kill anyone if anything happened to my son ... |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
Damn right I said that. And you misspoke yourself with a previous post of yours - you said you had problems "accepting" that Russians would do this stuff, when talking about executions in general. I remember what you post a hell of a lot more than what you think |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
I said because I grew up there and know those people of cause its hard to accept. But if proven ill never deny it because killed/raped civilian is a crime. So dont misplace hard to accept and accepting the obvious and proven. So you either dont remember or like to misplace the meanings in your favor....or dont understand the difference? |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
I realize English isn't your first language and I'm overly direct but sometimes you're really lousy at explaining things and people can get the wrong idea, duntez. It shouldn't be a surprise on your part, you've been here a while

Duntez people come at you and you act all surprised when it happens like it's a random attack. That should tell you something, just saying

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
He tries using it to his advantage Anyway, the video where the army confesses to intercepted Russian drones changing course and crashing into civilian buildings, does it exist with English subtitles? It would be a valuable addition to the media thread as it directly discusses a phenomenon seen in recent videos. We all know what our little DR.com-journalist will think about it: |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
I think there's an interesting point to be made about duntez and to a certain degree faust, but they're not really comparable as faust obviously suffer from some sort of deficiency. He (d) likely doesn't appreciate the fact that someone can sit in Miami and post like he does, with a fairly high degree of freedom. Flip his views to pro UA and make him post from Moscow, and we'd likely not see him after a week. I would expect him to take a slightly more nuanced and neutral stance when posting, but he's obviously 95% pro russian at this point. I'm all for healthy skepticism and arguing both sides of the table, it's where all productive discussion flourish, but he's not really a good example of this from what I've seen since late february. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II
Yeah I don’t think anybody means harm. Confirmation bias is a thing. Same with me: I am not always right 100%. Maybe 95% but even I am wrong sometimes. But if I learn from it then I become a smarter or better person. Anyway, people often look for perspectives that align with a predetermined view that is both normal as well as human
