Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread II

Faust gets mad if anyone quotes CNN but then seriously quotes RT. This guy is just trolling. Should get banned or warned.
Somebody should “get banned or warned” for quoting a news organisation providing neutral reporting on a civilian infrastructure missile attack which could have easily been politicised?

How about haters provide us with the cases when RT straight up lied about something and if got caught didn't apologize that they were wrong ( something not many would do actually)

Some of them stating shit like "FUCK OFF Rus government owns this channel, so its garbage". When I hear something like that I want to ask if they believe that privately owned news companies would be any different? In the end, its not about who owns the company, rather who was proved wrong constantly or on regular occasion.

Well he was banned for 4-5 days until this new thread was created. I'm not sure his time away was enough but that is not up to me. Repeated, obsessive and incessant rambling of hypocritical, misleading information isn't a violation of the rules I don't think. I might just have to use the "ignore" function of this site for the first time ever in 11 years.

if people are posting misinformation, then someone should post the right information to prove them wrong.

And who would that be. Russian TV news is literally a meme of inaccuracy even among Russians inside Russian telegram channels. C'mon dude stop playing dumb.

Imagine how the pro Russians in here get louder when they realize just how much they've been fooled.

I think you expect way to much from users whose arguing skills are on the level of “shut the fuck up bro” and fake-reporting posts trying to get people banned

https://www.reuters.com/business/med...ik-2022-05-25/

As for RT.com, I don’t think the users are even allowed to visit it in their own countries, some EU Internet providers would face criminal charge apparently so of course they have to deny their users access to it.

RT.com is certainly biased against ‘western standards’, they will write a report on how a trans identifying person used a penis to rape a biological woman in an all woman’s jail. But at the same time, they also report this
https://www.rt.com/russia/563274-det...tion-protests/

Also they (RT) use language like “RU MOD claims to have destroyed X number of tanks in an attack near region Y”
So I like their honest writing style and reporting, even if they focus on exposing western left-wing doctrines and other stuff which could be considered not positive for western audiences. Whose own ‘state media’ consists of media companies trying to divide their population over racial and other issues

Dont walk away from my question? I was talking about RT. Honestly, lets google up and compare RT ( government owned agency) BS and pro western ( privately owned agency)media BS.

That is right, you have to imagine that because the only people getting louder are those issuing fake-reports to the mods or even trying to become mods and then threatening personal harm when their plan is foiled, or the ones posting “shut the fuck up bro”.
