Re: Russian Invasion Ukraine Day 51/52 (April 16th and 17th)

Russia started bombing Azovstal plant with heavy bombers, but so far without vacuum bombs. TU-22M long range bomber flying towards the plant. One of Europe’s largest metallurgical factories, the Azovstal iron and steel plant, has become a suitable stronghold for Ukrainian forces.

The far-right Azov Battalion, the Ukrainian marine corps, and the local territorial defense force have hunkered down everywhere in Azovstal’s industrial complex.
They should have used thermobaric weapons. That is more ethical and also better to contain diseases in case they cannot retrieve the bodies yet.

Would you say this is the endgame for Azov?

*Kharkiv. Kharkov is in Russia. They make some of the most nastiest cheapest vodka in Kharkov. I used to drink a lot of it. Being a drunk injun/white trash broke motha fucka. Used to mix it with sprite or even Kool aid. Gross either way

The special forces of the DPR prevented an attempt to leave the top command staff from the area of the Ilyich plant.
During the battle, up to 50 servicemen were destroyed, of which five were senior officers of the brigade, another 42 surrendered

Re: Russian Invasion Ukraine Day 51/52 (April 16th and 17th)

Standing right in the middle of a window is a sign these troops aren't all that well-trained or this video is staged. In any urban combat you have to make yourself as small a target as possible so a properly trained soldier would be veering from the side of the window, with only gun and tiny bit of the head visible.

Also preferable if you can avoid sticking your head out from obvious windows for too long, because those are obvious spots and going to draw a lot of enemy fire. Same reason why its preferable if you never shoot from top of the hill but instead from the side.
You are absolutely correct. You not only want to make yourself a small target, but you also do not want to give away your position among the rubble of the burned out buildings and these guys are doing it all not to mention they are wasting precious ammo. You only lay down that much fire at once when you are laying down suppressive fire to cover for someone. These guys appear to be Chechen and they are either poorly trained or showing off for the camera as I do not hear any other background fighting as if a skirmish is taking place.

Mariupol. Idk where from, but seems like around 40-45 service men are trying to reinforce those who’s surrounded right now. DNR and Russian Army service men met them with fire.
dude almost got headshot.

Kharkov/Kharkiv is the same place just different spelling. Same with Kiev/Kyiv. Both are in present day Ukraine (for now).
