if the chechen claims are not true just let him do a short vid in some room holding up a recent newspaper and the killed/not killed news debate is over. That's what i would do to make the other party look like liars as now no one really knows what's true or not.

Once you start a real fight with misinformation, you seriously weaken your ability to spread your own misinformation. It's more effective to use the same methods whether the truth is on your side or not.
