The funniest thing is that ruSSkies have literally nothing to do with the mythical Spartans. It’s a complete opposite of Spartans. ruSSkies are exactly those who tried to fight Spartans.

Re: Russian Invasion Ukraine. Day: 356/357/358/359 (Feb 15st, 16th, 17th, 18th)
[QUOTE=WhiskeyOutpost;7837808]- "One of Bakhmut's night fights. 5 fighters of the Azov Kharkov Special Forces and 2 fighters of the DOZOR unit entered into a many-hour battle with the Wagners. After 3 hours, 35 people were eliminated, and the enemy unit retreated to its previous positions." Very long distance shot starting at the 19sec mark & eventual impact at the 24sec mark indicates that the weapon used in this has to be a 50cal plus as a standard 7.62 or 308 round doesn't have the kinetic energy or capacity to travel that far as standard manufactured NATO rounds don't contain enough grains / powder in them to travel that far as the "Hang Time" in this vid is 5sec. The 7.62×39’s typical 2,350 feet per second muzzle velocity is about 750 fps slower than the 5.56×45’s. 7.62×39 ammo will therefore exhibit the same velocity at 300 yards that the 5.56 will at 500. The 7.62 may have a steeper bullet drop, but its heavier bullet delivers about 200 ft lbs more muzzle energy than a 5.56. Plus, it retains that power advantage downrange. With that being said the total distance that you can get out of a standard 7.62 is 3725 meters or 2.3 miles or 3.7 kilometers whatever language you speak & that's total distance without the required kinetic energy left to do any damage, so with a "Hang Time" of around 5sec & not counting the exact millisecond in this equation & IMO, the shot would have come from a "Barret M82" or equivalent 50cal system & if it is a Barret used in this vid, it was kindly donated by the US as they are manufactured in Tennessee. Anyway, just a bit of a general ballistics' breakdown for all the gun lovers & lone wolf snipers out there. |
