I understand the need for vengeance but I would be very cautious. Imagine a scenerio where some fellows of the guy that we shot in the ass, see a footage that we made or find him shot in the head dumped in a ditch with his hands behind his back. What will his comrades do the next time they capture one of our own? What if they get their hands on a civilian? What if that civilian is my/your girlfriend, mom, brother etc... We would find ourselves in a spiral to hell, where both sides would be trying to outbid the other enemy in the ways to make inflict more suffering. |

Most of these bloodthirsty calls for vengeance on prisoners come from armchair warriors who's military experience comes from video games.
