Yes, it is still a war crime. I know U.S. soldiers have been tried for war crimes. That's one of the advantages of a non-SOVIET system. We hold everyone accountable for what they do, whether they are an oligarch or a regular schmoe. How many wealthy people in the U.S. have been on trial in the last 4 years for sex with teenage girls? Now how many oligarchs in Russia have faced that? None that I am aware of. The same way with SOVIET soldiers. There is no war crime if you are a SOVIET. |

The Russian system, certain ideologies are far more protected than others. Money too. Here in America, it's more about money. Got money? A good lawyer can get you out of almost anything.
