This reply isn't necessarily directed at you spamwich... just in general.

One thing I haven't seen anyone mention is the fact that these also may be part of a fighting force within the DPR/LPR separatist forces; they are known to wear red tape as well. Even Belarusian fighters started doing it at one point. Also there is a coat hanging from the shovel in the 2nd video.

The quality of the video is the biggest issue here. There appears to be a bit of ghosting/smearing which is completely expected in low quality video that may/may not have been exposed to multiple downloads, compressions, and/or conversions. The red remains predominantly behind the foliage, with a minimal amount of red translucent glow of the trailing/smearing/ghosting in front the foliage. It is such a bright shade of red it definitely stands out.

I haven't seen anyone talk about the red tape wrapped around the head of this person lying face down in the dirt? It is pretty bright, but not moving like the soldiers leg.

And the patch on the right arm of the other soldier? It looks to be white blue red.

I've also include a couple of other photos with Russian/Pro-Russian forces in them wearing red tape.

I'm not ruling out anything at this point. But based on everything I know thus far, which I won't keep repeating, I'm fairly certain these soldiers are not Ukrainian. I do know that I'm tired of talking about it and will just wait for more information to come out.
