In Russia, a 25-year-old local resident, conscript R.Z. shot military commissar, A.E. right in the military commissariat. This happened in Ust-Ilimsk, Irkutsk region. The head of the draft board was wounded and in the Hospital while other sources write he died in Hospital.
The shooter was detained. Before he shot him he said “We’ll all go home now.”

According to preliminary reports the shooter himself was to have been mobilised today.

An eyewitness of the shooting at the military registration and enlistment office in Ust-Ilimsk said that there was no metal detectors at the military registration and enlistment office.

The conscript’s documents were not checked either – “they looked at the summons, drew a note in the register and left. He had a gun like the one from ‘Brat-2’, very similar, like a homemade sawed-off rifle,” said the eyewitness of the shooting.

At least ~~nine~~ 13 people were killed and 20 others injured in a shooting at a school in the Russian city of Izhevsk on Monday, according to media reports.

Russia’s Investigative Committee said in an online statement that two guards, two teachers and five students were killed in the shooting in a school in Izhevsk, a city about 960 kilometres (596 miles) east of Moscow in the Udmurtia region.

Governor of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov said in a video statement that the still unidentified gunman shot himself.

No other details about the gunman or his motives have been released.

The school educated children between grades 1 and 11. It has been evacuated and area around it has been fenced off, the governor said.

A BBC report said that the school is located in the centre of Izhevsk, a city of about 650,000 residents, close to central government buildings.
