I don’t understand that about war. People go shoot and kill each other but then the enemy gets wounded and it’s like: “we gotta stop the bleeding quick!”
If people are going to be friendly, why fight at all?

Well you can look at it from different angles.. like to add more prisoners for an exchange or building back up what was destroyed etc. IMO because people know how close they are. Over the years Ukrainian and Russian blood got so mixed up that it’s practically the same people. You can find a Ukrainian probably in every corner of Russia, same goes for Ukraine, millions of people on both sides have relatives on another side of the border. There is no such hate for the most part, like we see between Azeri and Armenia for instance. Don’t get me wrong Ukrs are mad.. and Russians now too at least because so many of their brothers in arms dead…. But both sides are not savages like radical islamists or something, besides those who far right and straight up nazi or radical nationalist
