Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Moved from the media thread... and go ahead and keep reacting emotionally and fuck off this post. All due respect, not trying to start anything but there's no need to generalize your derogatory remarks when it comes to describing your enemy. It can come off as ignorance and lessen your credibility. I am pro-human, believe that Russia does not belong in Ukraine and see no justification for their invasion. It's hard seeing all of these lives wasted, regardless of what side they are on. But, in my experience and in general, the Russian people are definitely not pussies. Sure, there may be some soft Russians, but the same can be said of absolutely any country. I'm sure there are some softies even in the Russian army but being put in a situation such as this with death a high probability and lack of understanding, it's bound to happen. I keep saying this, but it's all too easy to pass judgement while not being in the thick of things over there right now. But Duntez is absolutely correct. Many of these people go into this because they think it's the right thing to do or they may have a lack of understanding what they're really getting into when they join or are conscripted to join. You should really be directing your anger with the people pulling the strings and not the Russian people or even the armed forces in general. Having said all that... just a suggestion, no one died and made me Oprah.
