Please provide a source stating painting or writing on eggs isn't something done in Ukraine? Catholicism is a denomination of christianity and pysanky has been a thing in Ukraine and other eastern European countries for eons. It's tied to paganism as well. One indisputable fact is the eggs are more a part of Ukraine than Putin is.
