I'm aware that propaganda works on both sides... but the Russian side is just downright laughable. It's not even well done.

Anyway a (former) head of the SBU also killed himself. He was fired earlier but they are under immense pressure as they have to go door to door and try and sniff out communists:

To be fair, if I were in charge of Russian ministry of propaganda.. I would probably double down on the shenanigans at this point..

So I take everything with a dump truck of salt regarding this war and try to do my own due diligence as I have an insane fear of being unnecessarily ignorant (if that makes sense)...

But inquiring minds want to know... it's being reported that Putin is offering 1m rubles and a Mother Heroine medal to any Russian woman who agrees to have 10 children and keep them alive. She won't get paid until her 10th child is 1 year old...

What. The. Fuck? lol

I know rubles go a lot farther in Russia than the $16,000 would in the US... you can't even raise a half a child on $16,000.

I don't know if this is just a story the rest of the world is spinning but if it is, indeed, a real thing in Russia... it sounds like a horrible deal.

“Maternity capital” program was launched in Russia back in 2007. For the first Child mother would reciave one time payment of aprox 530,000 rubles, four every other somewhere around 170,000 rubles. And ofcause they are recieving more on a monthly basis as regular child support and from other Programms if they r qualified.
Now if you take average salary in Russia, I would say they pay you somewhere around 1 year of work. In US mother would receive $50000 for the first child and aroun $17000 for every other. Pretty sweet if you ask me.
Most of the young families use this capital for a new home down payment, car or renovations
