Russians slowly taking ground in the east, Ukranians slowly taking ground in the south and a large Russian airbase in the Crimea (south) got fucked up by what was likely American supplied weapons.

Given the insane casualties even by conservative estimates Russia has taken, it's no surprise their assaults have slowed greatly since they took Severodonyetsk/Lysychansk. Like what happened to American troops in Vietnam on their push northwards.

The Russian Black Sea Fleet's airpower (Su-24's and Su-30's mainly if I remember correctly) was nearly eliminated, in a single event. What the fuck was RF's air defense doing? If that's not major to you, what is?
