Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
I'm not really implying much aside from this being an unsustainable loss. The Vietnam casualty numbers don't account for ARVN or ANZAC casualties. I never said Americans would nuke anything, given the incredibly strong anti war sentiment of the time, unlike WW2. Not sure where that came from |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
I do apologize duntez, I can get a little opinionated. I hope you and your family had a good time wakeboarding. Never done that, yet. Americans born on opposite sides - funny thing about my family. My mom of course is Latvian/Russian but she does have some old American roots. She's related to the Confederate General Stonewall Jackson, who commanded a civil war battle in which two of my Dad's union ancestors (Swiss German Americans) were wounded but survived. Pretty wild stuff when I found that out. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
I think the Russian military model is based on getting people who dont really want to fight to get at angry at their comrades senseless deaths and go fight. They need the initial slaughter to wake the bear up.
