Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
It is even worse, he somewhere claimed he has a Russian grandmother. Though then again, he also has some imaginary Azov friend.. who is on the frontline and sometimes gives him classified info lol. But still everybody deserves respect |

My mom's side is Latvian and Russian, which is how I can read and speak some Russian, not much though. And in case you've been asleep for the past weeks our very own Boneface here on DR is the Azov guy I've been talking to. Surely you've pieced that together by now. Edit: He didn't have any "classified" information |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
You know what shocked me most? - we, as a community and as individuals chosen to come here and see the very worst of humanity, cruelty, I thought we, at very least must’ve learned something, after seeing all of this shit, turns out some people didn’t and that scares the shit out of me.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Yeah, it's pretty crazy. I don't have a problem with Russians, it's their old mindset and amazing capacity, more than others, to just "go along with the program" while a complete madman tells massive lies and starts wars for dumb reasons. Amazing how people can see pretty clearly what's going on and they still support this guys' bloody land grab. Ukraine is by no means an angel but they're just defending their country and deserved no invasion. The pro-Russia guys in here are defending an undefendable action, I don't envy them because they'll be getting mighty quiet in the coming months. And then out will come the apologist lines. "The world ganged up on Russia", "Their economy was wrecked, how could they win", "I didn't really support them, I just got annoyed at all the pro Ukraine stuff" Some of these pro Russia guys I think do it for very partisan reasons. One of them on here admitted it. They see that the liberals just love Ukraine and Zelensky, so they just do the opposite because the media is cheering them on. A dumb reason to support or bash anything. It doesn't really matter I suppose. This is DR where people can have opinions and that's fine. Either way, more media |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
I condone genocide. Hitler and his goons were twisted fucks. My nationalist ideology, if you can call it that, is aimed towards russians with soviet despotism imprinted in their brain. I myself come from a russian ridden Baltic country and judging by your name and talk about Lithuania I thought you are probably from Lithuania, but since you had to use google translate to know what silver bullet said, I don't know. Maybe you're one of those russians who still doesn't know or just refuse to speak or read or write in latvian like in my country? About which user are you talking about? You realize you replied to a different conversation totally. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
It’s sad but tactical. They have to kill a few of their civilians to stop the evacuation. Because once the evacuation is complete, all soldiers get destroyed by the enemy. No reason to hold back if there is no possible collateral damage to civilians. This reminds me of the human shields at Azovsteel. Also they were not allowed to leave. To be point of being threatened by death or torture. Really sickening :( though understandable from the Ukrainian perspective. At Azovsteel once all civilians were gone, the Russians could use phosphor ammunition to the point where azov had to surrender. They don’t want to repeat that mistake again I’m sure |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Hey Baghdad Bob! In the end, I wonder what spin you'll use to characterize Ukraine inevitably surrendering more of their territory to Russia as a victory. With all this Ukrainian "victory" Russia should be on the run any day now and Crimea will be returned to her rightful owners, lol. |
