Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
- Russian "Victory Day" Parade Russian President Vladimir Putin, who observers suspect was wearing a flak jacket, presided over the parade in person, giving a subdued speech, saying the defense of Russia “was a sacred thing”. As expected, Putin associated Russia’s invasion of Ukraine with the sacrifices of World War II, justifying the Russian military fiasco as “proactive resistance to aggression,” and a “forced, timely, and sole correct decision.” With rumors of intergovernmental tension and increasing insubordination in the mid-level officer corps, the abrupt cut of Russia’s Air Force fly-over—despite several successful practice-runs under far worse weather—is notable. At a minimum, the sudden ceremonial purge of Russia’s Air Force suggests that the Russian Air Force is unreliable operationally, and, potentially, politically. |

Even the Russians occasionally tell the truth (i.e. their dead Generals). Have you thought maybe they're trying to drum up support by showing their officials disgraced in a foreign country? Sorry this isn't going well for you |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
9th of may is the day of Victory for all former USSR countries over NAZI Germany. Today president of Ukraine made a post on several public platforms about his thoughts on this matter. His post had 10 pictures and one of which had Ukr serviceman wearing SS-Totenkopfverbände devision( dead head) badge. After trash in a comment section that picture was deleted.
