Lets backtrack a bit too tie up lose ends, since the situation in Gaza is currently cooling down a bit :)

You probably might remember the footage where two Hamas terrorists shot at two women hiding under a desk (see vids).

While looking for something completly else, It finally turned out from where this was and believe it or not. Both survived. The closer victim suffered 12 gunshot wounds, the one behind her just suffered light wounds.

Its about the raid on Urim base. An IDF homfront command logistics and intelligence base, crewed with 17 soldiers at Oct 7th morning. Long story short: 10 terrorists blitzed the compound using motocycles, using a direct offroad route from one of the border breaches. The same sad story of unarmed female support soldiers as in other bases in the south. Two got already shot while they made their run to the main hub to bunker down inside. The only two males died defending the entrance, the women who took their arms as well, which lead to the scenes in the video: Soldiers hiding under desks and getting shot. At the end the base commander arrived with a relieve force and took out the remaining terrorists. While the rescue party suffered no losses, the on duty staff for this weekend suffered 5 fem KIA and 2 male KIA. Imho IDF should rethink their treatment of non combat soldiers a bit, even Storm-Z prison units get a gun + basic training from mother russia^^

To me, people wearing helmets and vests with a huge tripod mounted camera that looks alot like a tripod mounted AGTM, is a pretty big risk to take just leaving it around. Not to mention this is probably in a 1 mile radius of a dozen recent Hezbollah AGTM strikes. My guess is that the IDF has gotten burned before by not engaging.

True Journalists should never be targets but get these guys away from the front line with their AGTM looking cameras.

For me it's a matter of "stupid games, stupid prizes". Yes, you may get the story of the century... maybe. But more likely you may get a missile or bullet instead.

Yeah, this yelp made me nightmares as well. But still, if you watch closely you'll see two more bodies lying around there, which havn't been as lucky.
