Hamas killed 17 Arab Bedouins Oct. 7th, a bunch of Thai farm workers, all sorts of folks beside Israeli, same with the hostages. Most of those Hamas guys probably never even saw anything outside of Gaza. The ignorance and pointlessness of the whole thing- 40,000 militant morons bringing cataclysm upon 2.4 million of their own people. Rabin tried to fix this mess and got killed for it. The Likud Party, Hamas, Fateh- everybody involved is corrupt, small-minded and unable to achieve the peace that is the birthright of all citizens everywhere. Leaders cooling in suites in Qatar editing videos of tanks not getting destroyed, while schools and hospitals catch tank shells & the fighters hide in tunnels. Whatever the road to partition or peace will look like, it won't look like Oct. 7th or the following corpse lasagna in Gaza. A 2 state solution could've avoided all of this in '67. The 16 year blockade accomplished what exactly? If we're documenting reality we shouldn't be living in some cartoon where this stuff is suddenly simple. Any one of us could've been born in Gaza. Palestine has been there for around 8,000 years, way before Muhammed, Jesus or Moses, and Hamas doesn't represent or protect them, nor does Fateh. The hostages must be returned. Then a cease-fire. I'm unconvinced that genocide-cheering reflects anything real at all. These aren't touchdowns by sports teams. Random folks that could be any one of us are stuck right in the middle of hell with a 90 year old problem on their hands. The random slaughter on both sides is bone-chilling.
