Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
Precisely, if it’s not the “anti-Semitic” card then it’s “they deserved it by voting in hamas” not realising no elections have been held since2005. Also, did anyone blame the average German civilian for the crime of nazis? So why should all Palestinians have to pay for crimes of Hamas? Not forgetting fact that Hamas aren’t even in West Bank so why is more land being eaten up by settlers and pals killed.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
Update with better info: "Preparations on the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing to receive the wounded and the holders of foreign citizenship who are supposed to leave the Strip today. According to Reuters, based on a Qatari source, the agreement to evacuate the wounded and the foreign nationals is separate from any other negotiations (and the meaning: not related to the issue of the abductees - AA)." Previous info: "Egyptian ambulances enter Rafah border crossing to transport (limited number of) seriously wounded in Gaza" NO MEDIA: "Egyptian media: The departure of holders of foreign citizenships from the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing has begun." LAST VIDEO: "Here are the Palestinians holding foreign citizenships preparing to leave the Strip through the Rafah crossing."

▶"Israel TV 13's channel hacked" ▶"The World Union of Muslim Scholars issued a fatwa on 'Gaza': "In order to liberate Gaza from genocide, the governments of Muslim countries must urgently mobilize their armies in accordance with Islamic Sharia. - Leaving Gaza, Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine to genocide and destruction is a betrayal of Allah and His Messenger. In particular, military intervention by the four countries bordering Palestine - Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon - is obligatory under Sharia law."

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
Not even Hitler livestreamed videos of his atrocities on social media (or otherwise published details). Want to know why? Because he knew that doing so would lose support for his activities from the German public who would find it distasteful. Hamas on the other hand is publicizing their violence --- because they know their communities love it and it boosts their support. Further, crowds of Germans didn't go cheering after Nazi's parading bodies of half-naked dead Jews through town in the back of pickup trucks. Now, I'm not saying civilians should be targeted for death, but I'm saying there's a difference between the German civilians and Palestinian civilians and that the difference will continue to plague the Palestinians, even after this war is over. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
It was different times, no doubt if social media was around then we would have seen the exact same, it’s expected with any war just like we are seeing in Ukraine. Also not like there isn’t documented footage of concentration camps. I’m all for combatants dying on the battle field as this is exactly what they signed up for but it doesn’t take much courage to press a button in a fighter jet & killing 4k babies (same could be said of Hamas targeting civilians on 7th) but the oppressors have been doing this on a much larger scale. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
This is not a hate site. Just like cheering the deaths of Palestinian children... anti-semitic hate speech isn't welcomed either. Also a reminder that while this section is connected to politics more than most others, any political discussion should be directly related to Israel/Palestine. This is not the place to voice your personal political leanings or what you think of "leftists/rightists" on a constant basis. They don't matter in here so please keep shit in the water cooler. Thank you. === "Hamas's Oct 7 attack on Israel was an attack on citizens of the world." Here is a video, with English subs, of captured Hamas fighters describing their orders on 7 October 2023. From YouTube (youtu.be/zF5GRHi0K_4?si=j473JiXej8_SXoOd). Thanks to Xtatic for the link! "The Israeli Shin Bet security service and the Police jointly interrogated six detainees from Gaza implicated in the mass violence that occurred on October 7, 2023. On Monday, selected excerpts from these interrogations were made public. According to The Jerusalem Post, each detainee had a somewhat unique experience, but Israeli intelligence agencies identified common elements among them. All individuals affiliated with Hamas received explicit orders to target and harm civilians, including the elderly, women, and children. Their superiors remained in Gaza while they carried out these acts. One of the terrorists disclosed that those who brought hostages back to Gaza were promised $10,000 and an apartment. Their strategy involved seizing control of targeted towns and establishing a presence there after committing violent acts, which included killing and abducting local residents. The video includes accounts from Hamas operatives detailing their actions on the morning of October 7, with one mentioning, "The instructions were to kidnap women and children.""

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
As if they target babies, your narrative makes no sense. They're going for the Hamas structures below. Like in the Jalabalia raid yesterday, where IAS took out a command center, killing the Hamas commander of north Gaza along with 50 of his command crew. Its easy to see, these triple blasts in quick succession are penetrator charges from a bunker buster, digging into the ground. Since most of Gaza is undermined with tunnels and caverns, civilian housing collapses, when these underground structures get destroyed. Thats very sad collateral damage, but unavoidable when Hamas basing out from or below civilian structures. Thats also something not even Nazis did. They tried to fight tank for tank, figher plane for fighter plane, ship for ship and soldier for soldier. No bs like using their own people as cover, wearing no uniforms, just doing childish sneak attacks and try to retreat, never holding ground. Man, when you really support the idea of a free palestine, you'd need a conventional army which is able to conquer and to hold positions. But this doesn't seem to exsist in the whole arab world. |
