poor dude, literally left there to wait for death, though saying that anyone else seen that video of the american troops with the car caught out by the ambush>? If they expect someone to walk up and finish you I suppose its only a matter of time for this guy.

You may be right, but I didn't see any brass in the mag. Then again, the video didn't have enough resolution to see if the bolt hold-open had been triggered by a last shot either.  One thing I did notice was that the ejection port was left open (as was previously mentioned by another poster), the barrel seemed to be left in the dirt a lot and the mag well was also subject to dirt intrusion.  These people don't treat weapons well enough to function in a last resort scenario.  |

The rounds look like steel casings which is not a good idea for the 5.56 and you are correct, he was dirt washing the weapon. There was no way it was going to fire. Once he charge it the BCG carried a ton of dirt in it.

That was kinda hilarious. He kept shouting at the truck the whole video and they did nothing until he got hit, then they hightailed it out of there. We need an arabic translator, it would help to know what he was shouting. And that guy with him seemed worthless.
