There was a doctor who asked several condemned prisoners in France back when the guillotine was the method of execution if he could have their permission to do some tests on their severed heads directly after the chop.
They agreed, and gave consent. Apparently he spoke to them and moved his finger across their field of vision and the eyes followed his finger back and forth and when he spoke to them, they looked at him with living eyes.
He came to the conclusion that the head after decapitation was still alive for in some cases 2-3 mins after it had been cut off. This is due to oxygen still in the brain.
this info I learned from a documentary called Executions.
So yeah, I do think that some of the victims in these videos be it Mexican cartel or ISIS, are still conscious for a few moments post beheading.

Just an example but every sources states this took place in Egypt. I mean.. If Boka Haram Isis exist in Africa, why wouldn't they be in Egypt considering 94% of the population in Egypt are Sunni Muslim.
