You know it! I love this video, and I love this song. He loves to put his face places, or he used to anyhow.  If you've heard the whole Windowlicker EP, the second song, incoherent noisiness, practically unplayable in any situation, but if you feed it through a spectrograph, his face and some other weird stuff will appear. So really, some of the noises are just what his face sounds like.  |

Have you seen Rubber Johnny, or any of Chris Cunningham's other videos. He made a bunch of crazy stuff for a few people--Bjork, Portishead, Squarepusher, and most of Autechre and Aphex Twin's videos were all made by him.

Wow, did not know about the face tune. That's super neat. And yes Rubber Johnny was one of the first videos of his I saw. Me and my brother thought it was so twisted and fell in love  Bjork? I could totally see him composing her videos, they are uniquely alike in a oddball artist way. I miss him, wish he would just pop back up with something dark like the good ole days. |
