Are you sure this is rap? Because it sounds like singing with autotune. Something that society been calling rap for at least 10 years now with prominence of "trap". Rap halted around last Biggie's album, Hypnotize, All About the Benji's and that stuff. After that it was either Eminem or really underground. Never try to rap to impress girls like Boyz2Men type of stuff. Rap because you like it and want to give out bigger message. Stay away from rapping about girls, money or cars. Good luck! I think your voice has potential. (don't auto tune it, use FL studio/Cubase to stabilize it and to sound it more "radio", everything else is bullshit fake) |

Thanks for checking it out, I do like using effects on my vocals but in general I do not. Only for fun not when I do anything serious. Check the first video I posted. Zero effects on the voice, also the subject matter is usually about gore or horror themes not usually rapping for girls or money or cars. These were all recorded on my phone with iPhone earbuds as a microphone. Not the most quality way of recording but here I am just showcasing various verses I have written

Granted. Yeah, I checked all three and first one I like the most  .I'm just saying, stay on good path brother. Also, maybe you should think about investing into your equipment? Even slavic trash like myself can get good equipment nowadays, for example, I got: 2 Infinity speakers, really top notch quality, got it for around 300 bucks Focusrite's sound card that costed me around 100 bucks, could have got bundled mic but later on I got it Studio/condenser mic also from Focusrite for about 100 bucks Monacor amplifier for around 200 bucks I did it in around one year, little by little. Improvement in quality will make you work even harder and inspire you. btw. you seem to have good hang of how flow should be written down wordwise, it sounds really good lyrically compact while meaningful, but as everyone you need to practice vocal representation of flow. |
