Re: Tsunami (Indonesia)

Ahhhh yes, let's stand and watch as giant waves come crashing down upon us. Obviously, a smart thing to do.

And Geo8x6, I love your uhm, avatar? I'm not utd on all the computer lingo. Anyway, the lil Full Metal Jacket snippet. That's such an awesome movie.

I think it's actually Thailand - the last three pictures definitely are.

In the 6th pic they all look like they're bustin' a gut laughing. Apparently, they don't understand the seriousness of the situation. That's probably a good thing though. The first pic should have been the last pic.

Nice pics. Yeah, the kid on his dad's shoulders seems 'rougher' if a pic of them dead on the street was posted. Death is a sliver of the past, but that Kid/shoulder pic the last glimpse of breathe/life. Great pic.

Well, they couldn't just stand there, and willingly let the wave devour them. I think I'd try to outrun it too.

Reminds me of the one scene in Deep Impact, where the gynormous wave is smashing NYC, and there's a dude sitting there nonchalantly reading his newspaper when it hits, while everyone else is running and screaming...I'd like to think that I might have that kind of composure if I was faced with the inevitable

In that case there must be a tsunami every time I get drunk!
