Of all the people in New Orleans who had the most reason to have some sort of plan to help people were those who stood to lose the most, the residents themselves. And of all those masses of people I find it amazing not one of them had a plan to help themselves. No one seemed to understand the danger of staying in a city that is mostly below sea level and has only a few exits out. You can go north across the cause way but that is subject to closure and flooding. Or you can go west but that way is easily blocked by floods. You can go east but I am sure that way was flooded out at the last moment. It's really easy to get trapped in New Orleans. And once trapped there not even the US government can get you out in a timely way. Blame Bush? Someone should check thier history. The water logged bodies are great by the way.
