Flooding in South Louisiana
My area of the country is flooding like crazy, and it seems national media is overlooking it. Some towns are reporting 95% of resident homes flooded! My home was fine, but our street had water up to my waist, we were kayaking supplies up and down the road. https://www.facebook.com/wgno/videos/10154462352303734/ ![]() ![]() |

Re: Flooding in South Louisiana
You're damn right the media's ignoring it. Thankfully we haven't flooded, but my sister's family has 3 feet of water in their house in Lafayette, old school friends who live in the area were trapped in their houses and one of their houses took a direct lightning strike, family and friends near Baton Rouge flooded....and while they pilloried Bush for his response during Katrina, I haven't heard anyone say much about our Fuck-Up-In-Chief deciding to try and get his -2 par rather than get his ass down here and take a look at things. Not that he's really needed or wanted at the moment. |
