Plane Hit Power Pole, Exploded & Crashed On The Road
A tragic incident unfolded as a small plane, dispatched for a firefighting mission by Chile's National Forest Management company, met with a catastrophic accident. While flying at low altitude near Tulka, the plane's wing struck an electric pole unexpectedly, leading to a fiery explosion and a crash on the highway. This devastating accident occurred on a Monday evening and was witnessed by people traveling on the highway. The plane had been flying at a low altitude along the road and appeared to have miscalculated the distance. Tragically, the right wing collided with a power pole, causing both the wing and the pole to shatter simultaneously. The plane immediately lost balance, resulting in an explosion and flames engulfing the aircraft, ultimately transforming it into a massive fireball that descended onto the highway. The collision also inflicted damage on two vehicles. The 58-year-old Spanish pilot, Fernando Solans Robles, was found severely burned and tragically succumbed to his injuries after being transported to the hospital. |

Looks like they need to go back to basic training. Their job was to make less fire, not more fire. Important difference!

Re: Plane Hit Power Pole, Exploded & Crashed On The Road
Looks like a training mishap, as in the last video there's ppl standing on the tarmac & field watching the "dump" & clearly no real out of control fire to necessitate aerial bombing. A very needless tragedy. |
