Austria - Plane Slams Into Paragliders Parachute
The incident occurred in Austria: the impact damaged the dome, and the woman began to fall rapidly, spinning in the air. She managed to open the emergency parachute and survived – escaped with bruises. The pilot landed safely and stated that he could not avoid the collision.

Well, THAT'S something you don't see very often! Good save! Perhaps she will take up "clog-dancing" now. I understand the injury rate for that is VERY LOW, and the death rate nearly non-existent. Except in India, where 43 people die each week, doing that.  |

She’s ultimately very fortunate to survive. I hope they take the pilot’s license away for life. He’s not paying attention like he should. Very preventable had he really been watching the sky. He probably thought “wide open sky, nothing to care about” until he rips through her canopy…  |

She did a good job of keeping her head and pulling the emergency chute! I would have been busy cussing out the pilot and giving him the dual birds!
