The Floating Bodies in Tsunami 2004: Indian Ocean Disaster, December 2004
On December 26, 2004, an undersea earthquake triggered a tsunami across the Indian Ocean. In the aftermath, dozens of victims were left floating among a dense mass of broken timber, planks and household debris in a river or harbor channel. Open water lies to one side of the wreckage, with damaged rows of buildings on the opposite bank.

Re: The Floating Bodies in Tsunami 2004: Indian Ocean Disaster, December 2004
that's an amazing picutre... I've yet to see any good video footage showing the size of the tsunami, everything i always saw looked like a relatively small wave when thinking of the waves I've seen at surfe spots... perhaps cause the images and videos of the tsunami never had surfers to show how truely big it really was |

Having just watched a full documentary on this event... This picture is like a Where's Waldo version of tsunami victims. |
