i still dislike religion but i found this interesting.
this happened 2-3months ago.

i found it crazy when i looked into it that this is only the second ever pope to consider evolution, and no pope ever before considered the big bang theory,

The theories of evolution and the Big Bang are real and God is not “a magician with a magic wand”, Pope Francis has declared.

He added: “He created human beings and let them develop according to the internal laws that he gave to each one so they would reach their fulfilment.

“The Big Bang, which today we hold to be the origin of the world, does not contradict the intervention of the divine creator but, rather, requires it.

“Evolution in nature is not inconsistent with the notion of creation, because evolution requires the creation of beings that evolve.”

The Catholic Church has long had a reputation for being anti-science – most famously when Galileo faced the inquisition and was forced to retract his “heretic” theory that the Earth revolved around the Sun.

But Pope Francis’s comments were more in keeping with the progressive work of Pope Pius XII, who opened the door to the idea of evolution and actively welcomed the Big Bang theory. In 1996, John Paul II went further and suggested evolution was “more than a hypothesis” and “effectively proven fact”.

Yet more recently, Benedict XVI and his close advisors have apparently endorsed the idea that intelligent design underpins evolution – the idea that natural selection on its own is insufficient to explain the complexity of the world. In 2005, his close associate Cardinal Schoenborn wrote an article saying “evolution in the sense of common ancestry might be true, but evolution in the neo-Darwinian sense – an unguided, unplanned process – is not”.

Giovanni Bignami, a professor and president of Italy’s National Institute for Astrophysics, told the Italian news agency Adnkronos: “The pope’s statement is significant. We are the direct descendents from the Big Bang that created the universe. Evolution came from creation.”

they're doing that for thousands of years, that's why the bible has been re-written countless times as with education and science rising it's hard to hold on to certain things that have been written in the original one that now can be considered fantasy/impossible. They're too afraid to lose more believers in the western world so they have to adjust.

I think the genesis view of creation falls perfectly in line with science, real science. Statistically there is a 1 in 7 million chance of guessing the order of creation in the right sequence which the bible does. Science says that humans share DNa with animals and specific genes in humans can be traced back to specific animals. What objective science doesn't say is how this came to be. A lot of scientists buy into pure speculation that a random process of evolution is behind it all where 2 billion nucleotides work very well to control trillions of cells in our bodies to produce human life. Also speculation is that humans and animals have a common creator and thus common genes, following the order of creation in genesis. Scientists disregard this yet their own theory is nothing more than pure speculation itself. I rather trust statistics with hundreds of scientific facts contained in the bible that were discovered for 1000 years after it was written than the same scientists who encouraged lobotomies, said satured fat is bad, and say fluoride is safe.

Science is nothing more than heard mentality. All these "scientists" go to the same universities which are funded by the same governments and get jobs funded by the same said governments and universities. Science can be made to say whatever the scientists and those backing them want it to say. How many times have we heard vitamin c is good then bad or alcohol is good then bad or saturated fats are good then bad or that so and so increases Cancer rates and then they say it lowers it.

I used to study The Bible alot when I used to go to church but since i was doing bad shit I stopped going right away to avoid being a fucking hypocrit! I do believe in what God is trying to tell us on The Bible, although on old times there was almost zero technology but they writers inspired by God tried to describe things as much as they could. Thats why people think different things because most things that are symbolic are taken litteraly etc. Then I became very interested in science an technology so I managed to put many pieces of the puzzle in pace and realized that The Bible is Very accurate about everything. Even scientists have concluded that there was no way that the universe could have started by itself and sustain everything the way it has. From the perfect gravity all the way to the Human DNA, randomeness cannot create such as complex structure. So many scientiest admited that there had to be a Designer. I look up information about Aliens and The Bible talks about them many many times and describes them as being Angels and demons that can take a physical for or spiritual. I have way more information... If aliens do exist, Why are they almost like humans? They seem to walk like us, have two hands like us, two eyes a mouth, two hands with fingers and a very intelligent brain etc etc.

The Bible indicates that Satan turned against GOD, accordin to a text, Satan is describes as a beautiful angel that was right next to God until him and all the other angels who became demons where thrown into earth. thats when things got out of control

I turned a couple of my athiest friends into believers after I told them many facts of things. One person did say one day: "Religion and The Bible where created to control humans." if that is right then Shit just gets deeper! He also mentioned that marriage is one of the main things to keep us busy fucking up etc. I honestly don't know but at the end its what we choose to belive cause everything that we know might be a lie.
