Haven't seen it posted yet so here it is.
An amazing collection of photos taken during the WW2 and nowadays.
The WW2 photos were taken during the invasion of Normandy on and after D-Day.

Great post. What I found most amazing is that despite the death and destruction, the people rebuilt almost all of the buildings and area to the way they were before the war hit.

It makes me wonder if rebuilding the World Trade Centers wouldn't help restore something to the American people.
