Re: Myterious Bright Orange Flash Lit Up the Sky in Russia
why wouldnt it? because of the distance? i dont know anything about upper atmosphere nuclear testing (i never really thought to look into it, honestly).... nuclear blasts also seem to illuminate the sky for a longer time than that, dont they? |

Re: Myterious Bright Orange Flash Lit Up the Sky in Russia
Yeah because the atmosphere we breath only exists in the last 50Km from the ground into the air. The upper atmospheres can get up to 500Km from the surface. Don't quote me on it but I don't think there would be any sound if high enough. If it was a nuke though, there would be an EMP over the general vicinity it went off. If it was high enough and not over any populated areas, the EMP could go unnoticed however. |

Check this Kanda... One of the only video recordings of a nuclear blast with synced audio from 11 miles away. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencete...ada-tests.html |
