Yea, I've heard of strange things like this happening. Like, it'll rain kitchen instruments from the sky, BUT only between two certain trees, somewhere in the mid-west. I think that there are more things in heaven and earth than I want to know about. Oh, and I still, somehow, manage not to give a shit. Hmmmmm . . . .

Not sure why this is a big deal. Water spouts happen all the time. If it happened on a perfectly clear day it might be amazing. But still possible. And just because no one saw a water spout does not mean it did not happen. If there was a detailed weather study done on that day to go with the hard evidence of small water animals then that might show from what direction any possible water spouts had come from. And a study on how high a spout can toss up water.
